Track and bridge technology / Steel sleepers
The steel sleeper is one of the most durable, low-maintenance, and versatile components in the superstructure. It is used as a main-track or turnout sleeper and can be manufactured in profiles St 82, Sbb 1, UIC 28, or DS 9.
Key advantages include a long service life of 60-80 years, a good carbon footprint (using GREENSTEEL), and 100% recyclability.
The design provides high stability and resistance to longitudinal and lateral displacement.
Our flexible manufacturing process allows us to produce different lengths, gauges, and rail profiles.
