Switch technology / Tongue roller devices

Tongue roller devices enable the tongue rail to be switched without lubrication and with little friction. The use of rollers eliminates sliding friction between the foot of the tongue rail and the surface of the slide chair or slide plate, replacing it with rolling friction.

We offer our customers a range of slide chair plates that can be integrated or retrofitted into the sleeper bay as required:

• Integrated roller devices with stepless height adjustment from -1.0 mm to +
• 6.0 mm (DB design)
• Integrated roller devices with fixed rollers
• Clamp-on tongue roller devices, type EKOS

Generally, the base bodies of all our rolling devices are made of cast iron. However, in special cases, particularly with integrated rolling devices, we can also use a milled/welded slide chair plate as a carrier for the respective roller set, which leads to increased flexibility and reduced throughput times.
