Switch technology / Sliding chair plates

Slide chair plates are used in the tongue devices of points with asymmetrical tongue profiles. Since there is a height difference between the stock rail and the lower tongue rail, the slide chair serves as a raised support and sliding surface on which the tongue rail can move and rest. We usually design the inner stock rail restraint as an IBaV-S for use with Ssb 2, Ssb 3 or Ssb 4 tension clamps. We manufacture slide chair plates made of cast iron or in a welded design, as a combination of rolled and forged products, as required.
